Life's routines are starting to have normalcy once again. I cannot tell you how much life has changed since the arrival of Tyler. His moods (happy or angry) and demands determines your day. My husband said the other day that this has been the hardest yet most worthwhile experience he has ever had. I have to agree. When Tyler is unhappy your world is incredibly stressful; however, when you see that lopsided grin your world is simply wonderful.

Both my husband and I cannot believe how much our lives have changed. We naively thought that we would go back to being just Tosha and Dustin. We have become Mom and Dad.

Now that he survived our parenting skills for 5 weeks, I have to say the most trying moments are night. Its amazing how much sleep you do not need. He is a wild card. One night he will give us 4 hour increments the next he is up and angry all night.

I look back and I feel accomplishment in what I have experienced and survived.

Welcome Tyler Jack Wise

It was a long wait, especially a week after my due date, but our little guy is here. I was induced on the 29th of October. I labored for 12 hours. They say you forget all the pain and the annoyances of the pregnancy when you meet your baby. I can vouch for this.

Getting closer

Time has flown by. In 3 to 5 weeks Dustin, Duece and I will get to meet this little guy. I am just a few days away from 9 months. We took some pictures beside our new pond 1/4 of a mile west of our house. That was Dustin's big project this summer.

nursery/ baby bump

My due date is gettting closer! I am 8 months pregnant. After the being so sick the first few months, this part of pregnancy has flown by. I feel fortunate I am still mobile. However, every week I get just a little bigger. Right now he is about 4 lbs. I guess by the end he will be as big as an 8 lb pumpkin. I just don't know how he's going to fit.
Dustin and I are both excited and anxious. This is brand new territory. We bought our first box of diapers and wipes yesterday. And we finished our registry. That was a process. Babies R Us doesn't have just 5 pacifiers to choose from, they have 200. I refuse to change anything on it. We just have to stick with our desicions on bottles/ swings/ highchairs/ etc.../ etc.../ etc... I have a feeling our baby will be just fine.
I am really happy with how our nursery turned out. I like the simplicity of it and the color scheme. We just need to bring a bookshelf up from downstairs and it will be completely finished.

Train ride

Dustin has had this fascination with trains since he was little. We decided it would be fun to ride the train in Georgetown. I believe the train we rode on was built in the early 1900s. I really enjoyed our little adventure even the afternoon shower.
