Memorial Day was brimming with good friends, food, and a spectacular view.

My weekends are finally slowing down. There is only one week of school left (thank god). Today Dustin and I went to Hale Ponds to try our luck fishing. He spent more time fixing my goof ups than fishing. The only fish we caught were tiny blue gill. They were about 2 to 3 inches big. Despite the lack of fish it still was a beautiful evening. The wind calmed down and the water was glass.

We set up the Yuma High School Art Show today! All year my students pieces have been stacked in piles. It's so nice to be able to see what they have accomplished this year. This is my first art show and I now know how much work it takes to pull off. We have been prepping for this day for 2 months, and it only took a few hours to set up. It is a shame it has to come down at the end of the week.
