Life's routines are starting to have normalcy once again. I cannot tell you how much life has changed since the arrival of Tyler. His moods (happy or angry) and demands determines your day. My husband said the other day that this has been the hardest yet most worthwhile experience he has ever had. I have to agree. When Tyler is unhappy your world is incredibly stressful; however, when you see that lopsided grin your world is simply wonderful.
Both my husband and I cannot believe how much our lives have changed. We naively thought that we would go back to being just Tosha and Dustin. We have become Mom and Dad.
Now that he survived our parenting skills for 5 weeks, I have to say the most trying moments are night. Its amazing how much sleep you do not need. He is a wild card. One night he will give us 4 hour increments the next he is up and angry all night.
I look back and I feel accomplishment in what I have experienced and survived.

Getting closer

nursery/ baby bump
My due date is gettting closer! I am 8 months pregnant. After the being so sick the first few months, this part of pregnancy has flown by. I feel fortunate I am still mobile. However, every week I get just a little bigger. Right now he is about 4 lbs. I guess by the end he will be as big as an 8 lb pumpkin. I just don't know how he's going to fit.
Dustin and I are both excited and anxious. This is brand new territory. We bought our first box of diapers and wipes yesterday. And we finished our registry. That was a process. Babies R Us doesn't have just 5 pacifiers to choose from, they have 200. I refuse to change anything on it. We just have to stick with our desicions on bottles/ swings/ highchairs/ etc.../ etc.../ etc... I have a feeling our baby will be just fine.
I am really happy with how our nursery turned out. I like the simplicity of it and the color scheme. We just need to bring a bookshelf up from downstairs and it will be completely finished.

Trip to the mountians
It rained earlier this month. Enough for us to shut off the sprinklers and go camping. Now, I haven't been camping since i was 15 years old. I was determined to be trooper and enjoy myself. We decided to camp by Leadville. Only 9500 feet above sea level. The first day and night was so enjoyable. We fished a lovely reservoir and set up camp. The first night we feasted on steak and potatoes. Also I enjoyed two very good smores. During the night it dropped in temp and the little creatures came out to claw at our tent. It also snowed two inches.
Once I opened the tent and saw the snow I was done. The wind had picked up and blew all day long. I thought we had come to mountains to escape the wind. I know so little. I refused to be a burden and kept my mouth shut just stayed in the pickup all day long. I am very proud of myself for not complaining. My husband enjoyed a fun filled day of fishing. The night was very very cold and the little creatures came out again to claw at the tent.
The morning we left to Glenwood Springs it was beautiful out again. Thank god for that because packing up was relatively easy. We found our hotel in Glenwood and I took at a very long shower. My pregnant body just isn't made for roughing it. Too say the least I was exhausted.
The next day we headed to Meeker. Meeker is on the other side of the mountains, westward. It was really interesting to see a different part of colorado. There are so many wild flowers . We stayed with some great friends, Rocky and Sparky. Dustin caught many fish and shot many squirrels.
